Five Ways to Build Positive Guest Connections
We all crave to feel important, understood and appreciated. While we won’t be best friends with every guest who walks in our front door, we can make a killer impression that opens the door to creating lasting relationships – aka repeat guests!
Intuitively, we understand how a genuine smile, eye contact and our enthusiasm can positively impact someone’s impression of us. In this course, we’re not only going to cover those three – what I collectively call the Triple Threat – but take it a step further and add two more powerful nonverbal cues into the mix: welcoming hands and confident posture. I’ve found that these five nonverbal cues or “gifts” make the potential of connection with each guest we encounter that much stronger!
This course will take you through understanding each gift’s significance to watching how all five interact to enhance our interactions. It’s simple but powerful. Every FOH position that interacts with guests –even over the phone (!) – can benefit from having a deep understanding of the five Gifts of Hospitality and HOW to deliver them. Let’s begin!
